Miguelitos Mexican Food Restaurant was founded my Michael and Gabby Nevares in June of 1996. After a lot of hard work managing restaurants and hotels, to managing other top restaurants in Dallas for many years, Michael and Gabby wanted to open up their own successful, family-owned restaurant. Gabby comes from a long line of family restaurant owners, including her siblings Lorena Pinto-Chadwell, and Letty in Fort Worth, Texas, and her brothers Luis and Ruben in New York. Unfortunately for the family, Michael Nevares passed away after suffering from Leukemia on August 29,2004. He is physically gone but his presence still lives on in Miguelito’s. Michael and Gabby worked hard every day to make sure that their customers were satisfied and felt welcomed. Miguelito’s has become one of those restaurants where you walk in and you feel like you’re at home.
